Track 9 (3:07)

E.B. Blues

by

Ernie Behm

Growing up I would sit on the floor and play as my dad would practice his own classical guitar music. For many years I would hear these songs and I am only now lucky enough to have him teach me some of his own music that he has written through out the years. Here is Ernie's own twist on a classic blues in A

Track 10 (4:10)

Split Together

by

Tristan Behm

Split Together was written out of the frustration of practicing a Bach piece over and over.  I finally said to myself that I'll just have to write something that I can play.  This was the first part of the piece.  The second part is inspired by one of my one of favorite guitar players, Fareed Haque.  I had just seen a show of his and he played a piece with a particular rhythm that stuck with me.  Split Together is three different ideas smashed together to make one piece of music.
