Track 1 (4:05)

Canción de Cuna

by

Leo Brouwer

Canción de Cuna which translate to Cradle Song or Lullaby was written in 1956 by Leo Brouwer. I picked this song for the first track due to its sweet melody and the lovely pizzicato notes in the very beginning of the piece. Ernie taught me this piece around 1998 and I feel that I have finally grasped the true nature of the music

Track 2 (3:45)

Orpheus Rain

by

Luiz_Bonfá

Orpheus Rain is a combination of two song written by Luiz Bonfá.  One is Back Orpheus and the other is Gentle Rain.  Both latin tunes in the key of a minor. I'm sure I am not this first to think of combining these two very famous songs.  Latin music is some of my favorite music.  Black Orpheus was the piece of music played when Kathleen and I were married.
